This month’s unusually-warm temperatures in the city have New Yorkers clinging onto the final days of summer—and specifically, summer style. Katie Holmes, the queen of classic New Yorker style, is one such star hanging on to her summer wardrobe. The actor emerged in New York City today wearing a stylish look that combined fall clothes with buzzy summer accessories. She’s not giving up her sandals just yet. Holmes hit the pavement in one of the hottest shoes of the year: Bottega Veneta’s quilted, square-toe mules in a sprightly shade of yellow. The sandals, which retail for $815, were a street style hit at fashion weeks around the world this year, and have also been a favorite among fellow stars such as Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian West.
