The policeman who murdered Mr. Floyd was clearly a racist, he's been trained in restraint, ne knew what kneeling on his throat would do. The whole point is that "doing as you are told" is not helping, these things are still happening. Restraining someone should never involve choking in any means shape or form! it always has the potential to go wrong. This type of restraining is also used very inappropriately. Upon those who have been restrained and for what are many times petty offenses. The reaction does not fit the situation. Police are not judge, jury, and executioner. The police can not act like criminals and racists then hide behind their badge as a shield from consequences and justification of their actions. The US president wouldn't have a clue what is and is not needed in police action. He probably thinks a chokehold is a bit of foreplay prior to diving in for the lips! I'd like him to explain what he means by "generally" supporting the chokeholds.
